Welcome to Torre Cider Farm
Torre CiderLess than a mile off the bustling A39, hidden in a peaceful spot of rural charm and set in a small valley, with gently sloping hills, orchards and fruit trees, is. Torre Cider Farm.

The farm is run by Jill Gillman, who set up the business more than 20 years ago to cater for the demands of visitor's asking where they could sample and buy Traditional Somerset Scrumpy.

Since those early days, Torre Cider Farm is now much more than a place to buy our home produced cider. Extensive car parking, easily accommodate cars for the many people who wish to visit and look for local farm produce and quality gifts from a very extensive range of products in the farm shop. Sit in the tea room or relax in the gardens and enjoy a wide range of excellent home cooked food including their renowned Cream Teas. The children can visit the enclosures to feed the animals, including Cynthia the Gloucester Old Spot pig and her piglets and Honey the Torre CiderPygmy Goat, or just play on the various children's apparatus before taking a light-hearted photographic opportunity with the Farm's amusing Aunt Sallys.

The video room provides an in depth insight into the history of cider making, telling the story of this ancient drink and the deep rooted association between Somerset and Scrumpy. In this age of Hi-Tech, it is nice to find something which is traditional, handcrafted and pretty basic.

City and town folk now sentimentalise about rural life and everything that we eat or drink has to have a healthy context. All of the ciders and apple juice which are made on the premises at Torre, are pure natural drinks and always available to sample in the farm shop.

Torre CiderThe orchards and grounds support an abundance of wildlife including Badgers, Roe Deer, Fox, Slow Worms and many birds including Yellowhammer, Nuthatch, Green and Great Spotted Woodpecker, Siskin, Fieldfare, Redwing, Buzzard, Raven as well as over 30 more common species.

Photographic opportunities abound all year round with the spectacular apple blossom as well as the animals.
